1997 Costume Contest!!
The Gray Ghosts
This year Casey and Ricky invited "Cousin Cash" to join in on the costume fun! Cash's owner was only too happy to go along with us -
especially when she discovered that Cash would be the flag bearer! Ricky, despite his gaping head wound, was able to wrap the judges around his
paws with a few of his famous "patty cakes"! And Casey? Well - a better looking horse has yet to pull a wagon!!!
We were more than a little pleased with our First Place win in our class - and we have to admit (now!) that we were a little concerned
about the great costume that Jan had outfitted Rommy in! Talk about "original"! Rommy placed second in our class but to this day will tell
you that it took the entire Confederate Army to beat her!
