After several years for reflection, I have decided to begin the process of going to classes this fall. However, I am very concerned about an annulment that I need to receive. It is my perception that annulments are not easily received, and I cannot participate in the communion without it. Can you give me some advice as to how to approach this process?

Good to hear you have decided to take RCIA classes in the fall. The Lord himself is drawing you so give thanks to him. Please do approach your local priest or RCIA director about your marriage situation so they can guide you regarding the possibility of an annulment. The process is involved, but most people who participate in it find it very healing. My prayers. Let me know how it goes.
