During the first week of April, 1998, the staff of the Mary Bloom Center in Puno, Peru, moved out of the old center into the new one. The site of the new Center is part of the Imaculada School complex run by the Daughters of Charity (Vincentian Sisters). We are renting about 3000 square feet of space at the corner of Carabaya and Tacna Streets in the heart of Puno, a city of around eighty thousand people and capital of the Department with the same name. The Center will be furnished little by little as funds arrive. Pictures of the new Center should be available soon. Meanwhile here are some pictures of the orphan girls under the care of the Sisters who helped out on the construction work.
