Gosh, you seem so super-nice, I hate to slam your site! I'm sorry but I really can't agree with anything I've read here (haven't gotten through all of it). The Women as Priests article was especially poorly argued--no logical explanation aside from the flimsy "bride" analogy (which doesn't prove anything), and lots of "this is what women want anyway" talk. Listen, if women don't know what it's like to be black, how can you know what it's like to be a woman? As far as the disciples, I personally think Jesus chose men b/c He knew people in that society were more likely to accept males as leaders (and He came to spread the gospel, after all, not overturn society). Kudos to Jesus, but *shame on us.* Society has changed; there's no need to shudder women out of these so-called "low-pay, 24-hour jobs" that do no less than control how God's Word is rerecorded, translated, presented, and interpreted.
