TIPS
I have had so many requests for help on pages.
I am having problems getting back to everyone. So I made a list of things
I think are important to know when building a webpage:
1. pick a theme.....mine is gardens, research
your theme. It's ok to add other pages of interest!
2. keep the design similar on all pages....main
graphics, backgrounds and bars
3. download the trial version ofpaintshop
pro.....this makes it very easy to manipulate graphics, customizing
logos and creating banners.
4. check out
Microsoft's Web Gallery.....they have a great section of web art, multimedia
and sound files there.
5. Keep your copies of Micrsoft
Explorer and Netscape
Navigator up to date....you will need to know how they views your pages.
I have the 2.0 and 3.0 versions: some don't update their software
6. Crescendo!...download
it and add some background sounds.
7. Java
.....learn what you can about this!
8. Shockwave!....another
download.....if you want to take advantage of Java! then you will need
this also.
9. Update on a regular basis...I update
some almost everyday!
10. Read everything you have time too!....and
browse the web!
