Unitarianism is the belief that God is a single being (i.e. he is not composed as a trinity).
It is important to understand there are many different types of unitarians that are not related to each other. For example some unitarian groups beleive in the Divine Inspiration of Scripture, while other groups deny it. Some groups deny the deity of Christ, while others believe that Christ is the Father (and therefore not a trinity). Some groups belive in strict observance of Old Testament laws, while others don't. Some groups would be quite conservative while other unitarian groups would be quite liberal. There are many more differences that time and space will not allow me to mention.
