The Hay Loft
Sometimes, I enjoy putting thoughts on paper and making a rhyme or
two. Some say I'm a poet and don't know it - I'll put some of my
doodlings here for you to see what you think.
My First Love
Not quite sure when I saw her for the
first time,
But I do know I've never gotten her
off of my mind.
Her eyes how they sparkled like
raindrops sometimes do,
I'm sure if you met her, you would
have loved her too.
She had such a sweet laugh that was
music to my ear,
It let me know that my lady love was
oh so very near.
Her name was Elizabeth, she was
perfect as a rose,
That's why the Lord chose to take her
I suppose.
To me she was Gramma, my lady my
friend,
And I'll always remember her, till my
days on earth come to an end.
(After talking at length to Sonnybuck about his grandmother, who
he loved very much, I wrote this poem for him as a tribute to her.
It is posted on his homepage....... Sonnybuck

Kayleigh
Hi, I'm Kayleigh, as you can see,
Some call me Kay, and that's fine with me.
I love to play with Barbies, and comb their long hair,
And if you don't see me on my bike, I'm off
rollerblading somewhere.
My dog is named Jake, and I just call my cat, Kitty,
They're both lots of fun and even kinda pretty.
I watch alot of TV - I can even read a book.......
And as I get bigger - I bet I'll learn how to cook.
If your about my age or have a daughter my size,
Send me an E-mail - I would love that kind of surprise!

them at The
Ratt Trap - Just don't get caught!)
My Only Hope
My only Hope is my daughter you see,
She is very, very special to her Dad and me.
She has a cheery smile and eyes of brown,
That can melt your heart and remove any frown.
Her favorite things are her friends and dance,
You outta see her perform, if given the chance.
Her two older brothers would have to agree,
She's a real sweetheart and something to see.
My only Hope, is my daughter you see,
She's a gift from above, from God to me.
