Summerfield Farm is located along Bobtail Creek in the scenic Kootenai River valley of northwestern Montana -- land of blue skies, lush forests, big mountains, and deep rivers. We are approximately 80 miles south of British Columbia, Canada and 50 miles east of the Idaho border, where we are surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the northern Rocky Mountains. We encourage you to take this scenic TOUR of our beautiful country, but don't forget to come back and see more of Summerfield Farm!
Summerfield Farm is a small breeding farm
dedicated to
preserving, promoting, and enjoying the Lambert Morgan horse.
In the tradition of great Morgan breeders like Joseph Battell, J. C. Brunk,
Frances H. Bryant, Eve Oakley, and Shannon and Susan Hanley,
we strive to produce exceptional horses of true Morgan character.
Our clean-blooded Lamberts possess the same undiluted blood as
Lambert Morgans of the mid-19th century. In addition to helping
preserve the Lambert bloodlines with our breeding program, we
also seek to enhance awareness of Lamberts through publication
of "The Lambert News" newsletter and an annual Lambert Directory.

God has richly blessed our family by allowing us to live in such
a beautiful place as Montana and to own horses as rare and
wonderful as our Lamberts. We freely acknowledge Him for his
goodness to us.
