My Boardman ancestor is Helen Fordham Boardman who married (1)Elijah Wilcox and (2) James Payne of Gratiot County, MI. She was baptised November 6,1831 in Haddam, Connecticut, the daughter of Watson Luther Boardman (a descendant of Samuel Boardman of Wethersfield, CT) & Elizabeth Dickinson.
Her daughter, Malinda Wilcox, married George Cowles of Maple Rapids, MI.
