Born 5 mos to early on July 22, 1998
I found out I was pregnant on April 14th. I was so happy, We had been trying for 2 mos and finially the test said positive. I went to my first Dr visit on June 3rd. I was so excited I was 12 weeks and was looking forward to hearing my little ones heartbeat. Well the dr said the machine picked it up but we didn't haer it the machine said it was beating at 120 a min. All I could think about is ALRIGHT its a boy cause it has a lot slower heart rate then our girls did. Well he wanted me to go in for an ultrasound so we could comfirm my dates. So I made my appt. was to be on the 8th of July but they moved it to the 10th of June so I could have it done before my next appt.
Well the 10th finially got here seems like it took forever. We saw our baby he was moving all around kicking my blader. The tech could not tell what he was cause he was sitting on his butt.(Lazy like his daddy*LOL*) So we got a tape so we could watch the baby when ever we wanted to. My next appt wasn't till the 8th of July. Well it got here it was a short visit the dr again didn't hear the heartbeat but said the machine did and it was 130 pm. He said everything looked ok and to come back in 4 weeks. Well the week before I felt the baby move for the first time it was so exciting, but the week after my last check up I started having really bad headaches. So on the 19th I decided that the next day I would go in and see what they could do. and I also had not felt much if any movement in 3 days something was wrong. Well we went in and the couldn't find the baby's heartbeat this time the machine wasn't even picking it up. I was so scarred so they sent me in to have a US done. When they did that and I saw my baby I knew he was gone you could tell by the way he was laying. They sent me to radiolagest to make sure and sure enough they said my baby was gone. he had stopped growing at week 14 or 15 and I was almost 20 weeks. Well they set it up for me to be induced on Wendsday. That was so hard knowing I had to go 2 days and my baby was dead. Wendsday finially got there we went to the hosptial they induced me at 8am and I finially gave birth to my littlest angel Cory Michael Howell at 8:33pm I was in labor for 12 hrs.
When Michael told me it was a boy I wanted to just crawl in a hole and die. I had been wanting a boy for 3 yrs now and finially got him after 3 girls and he was gone. He looked so perfect he was so tiny he only weighed 3 ozs and was 6 and one fourth inches long from head to rump. but all together I know he was a good 10 inches long he had long legs like his daddy.
This is his hand and feet prints they did for me I know they are not the greatest but they look just perfect to me. They are actually size too.
