MY NAME IS CJ

<BGSOUND SRC="i_will.mid" LOOP="-1">

My name is CJ, I'm a champion you know

When I was in the ring, Oh how it showed.

I'd walk around so proud you could see,

That my owner and I were in complete harmony.

They would cheer me on and root for me,

I was "the peoples champion" that was plain to see.

In New Orleans I went around the ring so grand,

As still as a statue I did stand.

My grandness was there for all to see,

When my owner showed no lead was necessary for me.

She tossed the lead to the floor,

That is when I could hear the crowd roar!

One last time we went through our paces,

I could see the look of pride on everyones faces.

The DC crowd cheered so loud,

It was plain to see I was the favorite of the crowd.

I've gone to the bridge now, and here

I will be,

Saving my show lead for when Cathy comes to meet me.

Then once again we will be, "The People's Champion's"

Just Cathy and me

The day after CJ went to the bridge I received this poem from a very dear friend, Jane Manturi. Thank you Jane for your thoughtfulness. May Maxi and CJ be with us, and watch over us always.
