Tatting is one of the gentle arts of Victorian times, an 18th century form of Needlework that originated in Europe, it is made with a thread and shuttle. I got interested in tatting in 1989. A friend taught my Mother and my Mother taught me. I hope to teach my daughter someday. I have tatted beautiful dollies, bookmarks, christmas trees, snowflakes, tatted pins, note cards and handkerchiefs.
