AUDREY AND JEREMY
Audrey and Jeremy were abandoned cats that I just couldn't turn down. So after never having a pet for all of my adult life, I finally broke down and took in Audrey,a thin, malnourished kitten covered in various shades of green paint. After four months, I then decided to get another cat to keep her company. I told my vet I was looking for just the right cat to fit in with Audrey. My vet had a client who had found a stray kitten and nursed him back to health but couldn't keep him because he was allergic to the kitten. So, I adopted Jeremy, a sleek, black cat, who seemed perfect for Audrey. After about 5 days of territorial spats and stand offs, Jeremy and Audrey became friends. (I caught them looking out the window together.) They have their spats, but for the most part, they get along very well. They are such a joy. I never knew how rewarding it could be to have pets. JUNIOR AND PRINCESS
Junior is the big one and Princess is the smaller one. They are not related, but very close. Both are tuxedos. We adopted Junior from a pet shelter on Long Island called North Shore Animal League and Princess from a local place in NJ where my mom lives. We got Junior just after we got married and he was a few months old already so he just turned 8 and we got Princess 2 years later in May so she is 6! (Submitted by Kim from NY)
