all causes of epilepsy in the over 65's.
--Epilepsy can have devastating effects on employability.
--Children with epilepsy are at special risk of learning difficulties.
--Pregnancy has unique challenges for women with epilepsy
--Almost 600,000 people have intractable epilepsy.
--Girls who had continuing seizures had the most problems with
self-concept, depression, and behavior.
--Seizures themselves may sometimes be fatal, especially if prolonged.
