  7. I'm looking for a Mary SPISOR (sic), christened 13 Mar 1774, Bethnal Green, St. Matthew, London, England, daughter of Henry SPICOR and Elizabeth. I would like to know about Henry and Elizabeth.
Mary SPICER married Thomas EVANS, a shoemaker. On 18 Nov 1812, the births of six children of Thomas and Mary Spicer Evans, daughter of Henry Spicer and Elizabeth, were recorded at Dr. Willilams' Library, Redcross Street, near Cripplegate, London. They were: Phebe, Harriet, Martha, Lydia (my ancestress), James, and Joseph. I believe Mary Spicer must have just died; as I know Thomas married again and is reported to have had 26 children in all.
As I said earlier, I have lots of American Spicer information.

  10. I would like any information on Albert William SPICER born Grove, Wantage, Berkshire on 11 May 1842. He was the second son of Henry SPICER and Ann nee POWELL. His elder brother Henry, younger brother Edwin and sister Sarah Ann, all emigrated to Lyttleton, New Zealand in the 1860's.
Albert seems to have disappeared from the English records after the 1861 census and no death record found for him in England. He may also have emigrated, but have been unable to find anything definite about him in New Zealand.
