HIS ARMS

One day in prayer,
spiritually,
In my Lords arms
myself I did find.

I looked up and asked him:
"Lord,
Heavenly Father,
this rebellious nature,
called sin I have in me;
When I ask for forgiveness of it,
have you really forgiven me"?

He looked into my eyes
and smiled.
He then said:
"My child,
On that dark, dark,
cold, cold day,
they took me out,
the son of man,
and crucified me.
There and then
I took on yours
and the rest of all mankind's sins
onto me.
There and then I became sin
and was forsaken
by my father.
So that now
you
won't be forsaken
by him.

As I hung on that cross
and died,
because of my grace
and your faith in me,
spiritually,
you also died with me.

And when they laid
me in that tomb,
because of my grace
and
your faith in me,
spiritually,
there you also laid with me.
Then on the third day,
that bright morn,
Because of my grace
and
your faith in me.
You also spiritually rose with me.

Now here you set
and ask me,
of your rebellious nature
called sin,
have I forgiven thee?.

Because of my grace
and your faith in me
and that you died and rose with me.

And your rebellious nature
called sin,
You come and confess to me
Because of all of this
Yes! Yes!
I have forgiven thee.

All that I now see
is my child
washed in my blood,
washed
whiter than snow.
My child,
who straggles
and loves and follows
me".
