Isaiah Riddle
Isaiah Riddle was born August 18, 1868 in Longton, Shropshire, England. His father was Robert and his mothers name is unknown. He married Harriett Brassington in England. They were in Syracuse, New York when my great grandmother, Anna Mable was born on September 7, 1895. They had relocated to East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio by the time the 1900 census was taken. Isaiah was a potter by trade and worked at the Knowles Pottery. He died in East Liverpool, Ohio on October 2, 1924 and is buried there in the Riverview Cemetery. Harriett was born June 5, 1870 in England and she died in East Liverpool, Ohio on January 12, 1948. She is also buried in the Riverview Cemetery.
Their children follow:
Anna Mabel born September 7, 1895 in Syracuse, New York. She died in East Liverpool, Ohio on December 28, 1967 and is buried in the Riverview Cemetery. Anna was a seamstress, and work at the cafeteria in the city school. On November 4, 1916, Anna Mabel married Benjamin E. Jones, son of Benjamin and Rebecca Jones. They had one daughter, Ruth Elizabeth who was born in East Liverpool on February 27, 1918. Ruth died in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA on August 3, 1978.
Frederick William born 1898 and died on April 6, 1968. He married twice. His first wife was Agnes, and the second one was Permilla. I do not know the surnames of either of his wives.
Florence Louise born about 1900 and died 1993 in Wheeling, WV. She married Edward Smith in East Liverpool, Ohio. Their children were: Robert, Thomas, Mary Louise, Jack, Charles, and Betty.
Robert E. born 1905 and death unknown and buried in Spring Grove Cemetery, East Liverpool, Ohio. His first wife was Dorothy, and his second wife was (Mrs.) Mabel Clunk.
Herbert Henry born on August 23, 1905 in East Liverpool, Ohio and died 1944 in East Liverpool, Ohio. His wife was Anne and I do not know the surname.
Albert John born on December 13, 1907 in East Liverpool, Ohio. His wife's name was Hazel, again the surname is unknown. They has 2 sons, Edwin Jerry and Albert J.. Albert died in East Liverpool in 1935.
