Attributes of the Holy
Spirit
The King James Version of
the Bible was used for the compilation of these
attributes unless otherwise stated.
First, I think we need to
define exactly what an attribute is...
According to the Riverside
Webster's II Dictionary an attribute is a characteristic
of a person or thing.
A person or a thing? So is
the Holy Spirit of God a person or a thing.
I guess it depends upon your view of God... Do you know
God personally? Or is He some mysterious being (or thing)
that you never quite know how to approach without the
assistance of some outside help, if at all?
It is my belief and
experience, as I hope it is yours, that God is very real
and very approachable, and that God The Father, and The
Son, and God The Holy Spirit are all very active in your
Life. Without the continuous operation of all three
Beings of the Godhead in the life of the Born-Again
believer their life can be deemed empty or at least not
complete. I hope that you earnestly study these
characteristics of the Holy Spirit, and find them to be
real and true of Him as the Holy Scriptures prove them to
be.
Your Sister In Christ,
Helene
