Welcome to my page honoring one of our brave fighting men, tragically lost at the end of the VietNam War.  The story surrounding his loss is long due to the nature of the activity he was involved in at the time.   I was provided with a Synopsis of the events surrounding PFC Hall's loss.  Due to its length, I've posted it on a separate page.

APRIL 25, 1999 UPDATE:  There are now published reports surrounding a possible break in the search for Pvt. Hall.  According to the reports, a former Khmer Rouge commander led U.S. investigators to 2 separate sites on the southern coast of Cambodia, near the island of Koh Tang.  He has stated 2 of the missing Marines had been buried here after they were captured a few days after the Mayaguez mission, taken to the mainland, interrogated and subsequently executed.

U.S. investigators recovered human bone fragments from both sites.  Unfortunately, it could be years before anthropologists at the U.S. Army's Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii determine whether the remains are those of the missing Marines.

This is viewed as a "credible" account since the Khmer Rouge commander was in position to know due to his rank and assignment during the time period of the Mayaguez incident.

All gave Some...

To Those Who Served
~ by Douglas Kamees

We walk for those who no longer walk,
We speak for those whose voice is still,
We remember those with memories lost,
And we honor those who fell.
The soldiers off in foreign lands,
The sailors on foreign seas,
Marines who died in hand-to-hand,
That we might all be free.
The airmen who, in lofty skies,
Flew bravely into wars.
The men who stayed to watch our coast,
And guard our freedom's shores.
To these brave men and women,
Give honor justly due.
Their ultimate sacrifice guaranteed
Freedom for me and you.
