From time
to time, I run across something that really "speaks" to me. It could
be something someone has sent to me of something I've found in print.
A lot of these items are from our old friend, Anonymous. If the writer
is identified, I've given credit as appropriate.
Some will
make you laugh. some will make you really stop and think. Regardless,
I hope you will enjoy them. I will be adding things as I come across
them. The entries are in no particular order. So sit back, relax,

Opportunities
are usually disguised by hard work, so most people don't recognize them.
Optimism
is a cheerful frame of mind that enables a tea kettle to sing though in
hot water up to its nose.
Since
light travels faster than sound, isn't that why some people appear bright
until you hear them speak?
Memory is what reminds us we have forgotten something
we can't recall.
A wish is a desire without an attempt.
A conscience is what hurts when all other parts
