Hello darlings, come in and enjoy! So purrrfectly delighted that you could make it! (It's about time you showed up, what were you doing, chasing mice, or doing last minute shopping?!?) Welcome to this little afair I am hosting for my niece, Angelica. (Little, HA! This thing is setting me back more than a few toonas, let me tell you!) Oh, isn't she looking radiant today? Such a dear girl. (I'd be radiant too if I were contemplating opening all those presents!)

Please help yourself to some refreshments....

(Have you ever wondered why frosting roses taste so horrible? I mean, after all it is frosting, which is so unhealthy it should be heavenly.)

Of course I just had to serve my famous Catnip Mimosas. Go ahead, try one. After all, girls will be girls.

Why don't you move along and meet a few of the other guests. And take a gander at the presents Angelica has already opened.(THAT ought to get you away from the resfreshment table and keep you out of trouble!)

This is BC, one of Angelica's dearest friends and her maid of honor. She is so sweet and full of a certain bright-eyed innocence. We just absolutely ADORE that child. (Gaak! She's so syrupy she makes honey seem sour. I wish she'd develop some guts and stick up for herself. Everyone walks all OVER her.)

And this is Misty, another one of the bridesmaids. She's a barrel of fun! (And is it any wonder? I do believe that is her fourth mimosa. THIS one is trouble with a capital "T"! Check out that clevage and those earrings. And...that looks suspiciously like a tatoo on her, er, um, chest. She arrived on the back of a motorcycle. I shudder to think of how she may be leaving. Let's just hope it is soon.)

Here we have Beth, a old friend of the family. (OLD is right. Actually we're the same age, but who would believe it? I keep telling her that attitude is everything and to think young is to be young. But does she listen? No way! Let me tell you, the dress isn't the only thing dotty about that cat!)

And here we have the Right Reverend Pee Wee, Bishop emeritus, who will officiate at the ceremony. He's a close friend of the family having been raised with felines practically all of his life. (And what is he doing here, you ask? Could it be the potent combination of Catnip Mimosas and Misty?)

Shall we move along and see the presents Angelica has already opened? (Or would you rather stay here and risk getting pinched by the not-so-honorable Bishop?)

How sweet! Misty gave the couple his and hers matching pillows from Cat Stuff. (Trust THAT hussy to give them a gift having to do with....oh never mind. YOU can figure it out!)

B.C. hand-embroidered these tea towels for the lucky pair. (Get a grip!! Tea towels. Hand-embroidered??? I'll bet they are linen to boot and need ironing after each use. Hey - on the other hand when are the ever going to be used? LOL!)

And this set of pots and pans came from B.C. What a thoughful gift! (ThoughtLESS is more like it! I hope Angelica doesn't start her marriage off on the wrong foot by trying to impress Sam with her culinary skills. She'll be a slave to the stove forever! As far as I'm concerned, the only thing to make for dinner is RESERVATIONS!)

This lovely fish bowl came from Jana. (I don't hold out much hope for the poor goldfish. The way Sam likes seafood, it will probably be history before the honeymoon has even begun)

The Tucker Bunch sent this wonderful computer! (When Sam gets his paws on it, the honeymoon will definately be over!)

Tommy
sent this lovely recliner, so purrrfect for cat naps. (Yawn! And don't I wish I could have one right now.)

Her Highness Claudie
sent this comfy cuddle pillow. (I am NOT at all tempted to spend any time on it with HER! Hisss! She thinks she's a queen. LOL!)

Dickens, Murphy, Oliver and Sandy all chipped in to buy some beautiful china and this rather interesting catnip plant. (Hey guys, you been keeping company with Sammy recently?)

Henry and Freya
sent this charming set of fish dishes, so perfect for seafood. (Hey Sam, don't eat the plate, just the fish ON them!)

Which brings us to this unusual present from Putter Gergel. Most useful as we will make fishkabobs for the reception out of them!(I STILL want to know about the one that got away!!!")

Chris has sent a totally cool car! Just the thing for taking that honeymoon trip. (Hopefully Bogie and Spud will not get a hold of it before then and destroy it by painting "Just Married" all over it!)

Otto dropped by with these flowers. He really is a most mysterious cat. One never knows where he will turn up next.

Look at these darling figurines from the Potter Kittiez! (The one on the right looks like my Uncle George just before he dug his claws into his human's legs.)

Now here is a gift showing exquisite taste and refinement. Of course it was given by me! It was a real STEAL from Sam's Shopp. You can pick up all sorts of bargins there -

Just look at the lovely bed I found. (Of course it's for myself darling, a woman has to indulge in number one occasionally! Besides it would be wasted on those newlyweds anyway. What do they care where they....oh dear....there I go again!!...SLEEP, darling, what did you think I meant?)

Must you be leaving so soon? Well, adieux then. I do hope to see you at the wedding. I hope you will excuse me if I let you find your own way out; I seem to have developed such a headache. (I know what you're thinking and it wasn't the Mimosas!)
Nice ladies will NOT drink any of that shocking beverage depicted below!

Nor will they click their mice on it.
Coward...okay go straight to The Wedwinking!!!
