Hi, my name is Linda Ryan Branan, Henry Reed E.
Livingston was my 4th great-grandfather. He was born October 10, 1818 in
Somerset County PA the son of David and Barbara Reed Livingston.
Henry married Kathryn Fry in about 1838. Kathryn was born April 24, 1821 in Somerset
County. She was the daughter of Christian and Barbara Shultz Fry. Henry and Kathryn left
Somerset County in the late 1840's. They settled in White Township Indiana County, PA.
They were the parents of 12 children. Henry died in Indiana on October 17, 1891, just
seven days after his 73rd birthday. Kathryn died at the home of their son Emanuel on
September 27, 1912 she was 91. Henry and Kathryn are buried together in Oakland Cemetery
in Indiana. I have been researching the Livingston family for several years, and have
quite a collection of information. My goal is to find all the descendants of
Henry and Kathryn and the purpose of this site is to share my research, and
perhaps, find some long lost cousins.
