Happy 16th Birthday Joe

16 years ago god blessed me with a precious, beautiful baby boy.

You were to be called, Joseph Anthony after your maternal great grandfather. Ah, the first son, the first grandson. We were all so proud and beamed with delight.
Times were tough but we made the most of it and survived.
Your first year was full of fun and mischief but, you never ceased to bring smiles to our faces.

As time went on we watched you grown.

From adorable to questionable. The pierced ear and the funky hair. We loved you through it all. We kept in mind that these things were your ways of expressing yourself.
And, now we have a 16 year old son, grandson, great grandson. A young adult that we are very proud of.
