Norman Rockwell decorates
the walls of my living room. I have plates, mugs, clocks and prints.
I started out with the
Marriage License Plate as a gift from my sister on my wedding day.
For my 30th birthday
I accumulated alot more plates while vacationing in Florida. My husband
and I happened upon an antique store where one of the vendors was closing
shop and was anxious to get rid of his inventory. I came home from
Florida with 9 small plates and 4 large plates to add to my collection.
All at a steal. Since then I have acquired some mugs and most recently
some framed prints.
My children have grown
up with these plates hanging on the walls and my daughter is positive that
they are family portraits due to the fact that I'm very particular in my
selection of Rockwell art. I choose scene's that mirror our family.
