How to display the American Flag

My family has always been involved in the military since the founding of the American colonies to Desert Storm.

The Adams family was involved in the colonial wars and provided two presidents, John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams.

Decendants of the Adams were in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, some were in  World War I and World War II, the Vietnam War.

My father was in the United States Air Force for 26 years and was in the Vietnam War and my husband was in the  United States Air Force during Desert Storm, but he did not serve in the War. He retired after 20 years of service.  My dad's brother was sent to Vietnam twice.  My husband's father was also in Vietnam.  He was also in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years of service.
my brother-in-law was in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service.
The total years of service between them all is 99 years of military experience.
