Don't Weep For Me

Don't weep for me because I'm gone,

I'm living in Heaven, with Jesus, God's son.

The angels were here to welcome me home,

I'm singing God's praises around the great throne!

I know that you'll miss me and the times that we had,

But you know that I'm home now, so please don't be sad.

Just hold to God's promise that we'll meet again,

And when you get to Heaven, we'll welcome you in!

Jesus is with you and my spirit is too,

With each step that you take, in all that you do.

So keep pressing on, until you've reached home,

And always remember, you're never alone!

Although we must part now, it won't be for long,

For God will send Jesus, to escort you home.

And what a reunion when we meet again,

We'll be singing his praises all over Heaven!

I know that your heart is broken in two,

But you must move on.  I'm counting on you.

There's souls in the balance, and work to be done,

My race is finished, but you've just begun.
