Love Poems by Gale~
A favorite poem of mine... "LOVE WAITS"
I wrote this one for my husband several years ago.
I hope that you enjoy it as much as he did!
Black Stallion as dark as the night
Run from the shadows, run for your life
Run to the love waiting for you
Patiently in the light of the moon
Search til you find, your love sweet as wine
Love meant forever, love for all time
She waits for you with heart of desire
She loves only you, Stallion of Fire
She'll never betray for her love is true
She'll always be there waiting for you
From Summer to Winter, Springtime to Fall
Sunrise to sunset, her love will call
Pay heed to her call, Stallion of Love
Run to her light which shines from above
Make love to her, as only you can...
Set free the Stallion inside of the man
Run with her in meadows of green
Drink with her in the cool mountain stream
Sleep with her through the dark of the night
Give her your love and she'll give you her life.

"Phillip"
Phillip, lover of horses,
My knight and I your pawn
Where lies your power sources
To which I'm ever drawn?
How is my heart bewitched to crave
Til it's only you I see?
Is there a charm or wand you wave
To evoke your spell on me?
Do you sprinkle magic stardust
Like a wizard as I sleep
Or pour a potion spiked with lust
In my goblet as I drink?
Is it your eyes that hypnotize
And drive me to distraction
Or is it love you prophetize
To bring on this obsession?

I have written quite a few poems for my husband!
My brother took this picture of Daisies "Petals on the Wind"
He is my life and my love always,
just as I'll always be his 'Flowerchild'! :-)
while he was in Russia recently
so I decided to use it for my poem!.
Thanks Richard! :-)
The sun rose glowing amber
As she walked in search of answers
Across a meadow - changing hue
On a quest to find if love was true
Then sitting in a flower field
Does he want me, love me still?
Long blonde hair and daisies blowing
Plucking petals, hopeful - hoping...
He loves me, he loves me not
Waiting heart - tied in a knot
Daisies dying for love again
Whispering petals on the wind
She'd started at the break of day
And let the daisies show the way
No daisy could be left unpicked
Her quest for truth would not be quick
As the day grew into night
She smiled to see the moon shine bright
On petals spread like pure white snow
And on one last daisy left to go
He loves me, he loves me not
Two petals left - he loves me not
And finally what she'd prayed to see
One petal left - my love - loves me!!
