God's Unconditional Love

Most of us just love the chapter on love in 1Corinthians. Many of us even got that chapter memorized. That's not surprising because it is truly a great chapter. We declare that God's love for us is unconditional - then act exactly the opposite! Do not think that God can be swayed one way or the other by what you do or don't do. God's love is unconditional. Unconditional means just that. No conditions!!! No strings attached!!! Jesus took care of the conditions and the strings!!! God does not love you more because you are good or because you are holy or because you gave your whole paycheck to your pastor or because you are a nice guy. God does not love you less because you are bad or because you smoke or because you stink or because you eat and/or sleep a lot or because you sinned. God is God and you are you. It might be impossible for you to love unconditionally, but with God it's not only possible, it's easy. That's God's very nature. God is Love!
Relax and give thanks to Jesus Christ, our Lord. Jesus, because of His Cross made it all possible for you. Now, because you know and you are sure that God loves you regardless and regardless and regardless, doesn't it follow that you'll just fall down on your knees and praise Him and give thanks to Him and obey Him and serve Him???

Acts 17:25 And He is not served by human hands, , because He Himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
