He and his sibblings were fostered for their first 8 weeks of life. Their mom had them under a porch, apx. June 22nd, 2000. After a group of kids were spotted messing around with them; SNAPS, the local cat resuce org. in the area, swooped up an found foster homes for them. They had 2 foster moms before they came to us. They were bottled fed and this is evident in Wolfgang and his brother's suckling behavior. Mariah is "women and she rules," NO NEED FOR SUCKLING FOR HER! Thank you very much!

Wolfgang's name before he came home to us was Jack. We had to find a really appropriate, snazzy name for this regal little kitty. I started with Jack and thought of Wolfman Jack the disc jockey wildman. Then my mind jumped to Wolfgang which, Chris being a fan of just about all music from classical onward, and came up with Wolfgang. Then the middle name Amadeus just followed. Thus Jack is now Wolfgang Amadeus Jack.

He has accquired the nickname: Skinny Butt Skeeter Magoo: 1.)Cuz he's long and lanky and has a skinny butt. 2.) He flits around here like a mosquito, thus Skeeter. and 3.) For the first month or so he would walk around squinting. Kind of reminded me of course of Mr. Magoo.
