The End and The Beginning

This world is on a one-way trip towards its fateful end,
A time when the Lord’s judgement will come like the blowing wind.
Most are unaware of what is coming, and live on in spite,
They mock God, they hate Christians, and all that He says is right.

They love themselves and only strive for what they can get,
But inside their soul is black, dead, and to God, quite unfit.
They live their lives in search of pleasure and wealth,
And they seldom think of their spiritual, eternal health.

The Christians cry, "How much longer until You come back, Lord?
How many more of us must be killed with a gun, knife, or sword?"
"I’m almost there… at the very door " They can hear Him say
Hold on to your faith, and I’ll be coming for you straight away."

Things will get worse as time goes on, but we must hold our heads up high,
The Lord Jesus Christ will soon come and take us with Him up in the sky.
To us, this will be a new beginning of life eternal with no death or fuss,
But those who hated Him will see all things end, as eventually they must.

His coming is soon, sooner than we might think, so have faith and believe;
Follow Him and watch the skies, because it’s almost time for the righteous to leave.
