Over 2000 Years have passed since that first Christmas
When Jesus was born in a stable.
He is the Reason For The Season of
Joy, Hope and Faith.
May you all have a wonderful Holiday with your
family friends and loved ones.
Be safe, walk in Peace and Sunshine.
Always remember Ye Are Loved.

The Reason We Have Tinsel On The Christmas Tree
Once, in a tiny town in Germany now lost to the Ages,
there was a little hausfrau. The neighbors spoke of her in hushed tones..
for it was rumoured she spoke to animals, and they understood her.
Still, as she never said an
unkind word about anyone, they left her to her own devices.
Well the wheel of the year turned to winter.. when Jack Frost flies through
the air and the snow fairies dance their delicate ballet to blanket the Earth
in Her comforter of snow. The Hausfrau bundled herself in her little
house and lit the hearthfire to ward off the chill. Hours passed.. and above
the wailing of the wind she heard the thinnest cry. It was the wail of
a child, but softer. Opening her door, she saw a small Spider near death
from the cold. Carefully picking up the small insect, she brought it inside
and lay it on the table. Lighting a candle, she began to minister the Spider
back to health in that peculiar way known only to Grandmothers and other
Little Old Ladies. Noticing the Spider's exhaustion, she braved the cold
again to bring back fragrant and soft evergreen boughs to make a small
bed for the creature. It stayed with her for days and days,
but never got any better.
Well it was now Christmas Eve, and the Hausfrau prayed to the
Infant Jesus for the Spider to get better. That night, Angels appeared and
made the Spider healthy. To reward
her.. the Spider went out into the cold ( this time remembering his
jacket and boots) and spun his web all over the same evergreen tree the
Hausfrau had used to make his bed. The Spider worked all night covering
the tree in layer after layer of gray web.
As dawn broke, he wove one last web, one of magic.
The Hausfrau awoke to see her Spider friend gone.. and ran to the door
to find him. Throwing open the door she saw a wondrous sight.
The magic of the Spider's spell
had turned the webs on the tree into shining threads of silver, making
the tree sparkle like a star in the light of the dawning Christmas sun.
The neighbors had gathered to gape at the marvelous tree, and greeted
the Hausfrau warmly, and with loving arms.
This was also the magic of the Web, born of love,
it made all who see it love everyone in turn.
This, my little ones, is why tinsel adornes Christmas trees today, so a
little of the Spider's spell of Love will find it's way into your heart.
