Come and meet the family!
Don't mind the picture, we were a little out of sorts the day it was taken!!!
Hello and Welcome to Ladysnest, the first and only web residence of Ladyhawke and her family.

Just to give you a little background, I am Ladyhawke! Pleased to meet you! You may also all me Kris, I promise I'll answer to either. My family and I live in Canada (a.k.a. The Great White North). It's not white all the time, but it does live up to it's name between November and March. As I said, I live with my family, and they are all anxious to meet you, so if you don't mind I will introduce you to them now.
Now I will introduce you to my children. First there is Adam. Adam is the oldest of the three and he is in Grade 4. He loves music, science and Star Trek: The Next Genereation! Find out more about who and what he likes by clicking his name! Adam is one of many children who suffers from ADHD. For those of you who aren't familiar with this, it stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We added a couple of pages dedicated to this disorder,check out Living With and Loving a Child with ADHD, with information and links for anyone interested in learning more, or those looking for support. Worth taking a look at, just for starters, are the book "Driven to Distraction" by Edward Hallowell and John Ratey, and the C.H.A.D.D. Homepage which has a whole lot of useful info. :)
Robynn is the next of the three. She is also a French Immersion student, who is doing well in school. She has a lot of interests, which you can read about on her page! Just click on her name to go there! ;)
Alexandra is the youngest child in the family. She is 5 years old and shares her sister's interests in Sailor Moon and Backstreet Boys. Her favourite singer is Alan Jackson. Alex is very thrilled to have started school this year. One of her favourite shows is Lois Walker's Take Part. She'll let you know more about her favourite things on her own page.........just click her name! :)
It was through Lois Walker's web site that all three of my children met their email-pals. Adam has an email pal in Scotland, and Robynn and Alexandra write to a pair of sisters, Emily and Tess, in England. They have all become great friends, and my husband and myself have become friends with Emily and Tess' parents. Here you can take a look at Tess and Emily's Story Page and also their Picture Page.
