Thank you so much for starting such a page. I am 28 year old female who has Crohn's for 12 years, I also have an Ileostomy, due to the crohn's. I have been in remission since 1990, but have recently starting showing signs of a flare up :( I am a very hesi ent about going to the doc, I have had terriable experiences with them...ie... a year long hospital stay, almost dying, and ending up in a wheel chair for over a year, hense the fear. I'm hoping the signs are just stress, as I am begining a new semester o Nursing School in a week, and that they will eventually pass...any words of wisdom would be greatly appretiated and taken to heart...I must say, your page is by far the cuttest thing I've ever seen !!!!!!!!! Very good, and informative. I had a ileostomy because of Ulcerative colitis for over 20 years. Now I have Crohns.......No significant problems tho only one surgey to remove 12 inches of my intestine that has solidified...OUCH I didn't know that Crohns treats our intestine lke a foreign matter??
