We homeschool our children. They are currently in 4th, 3rd, 1st, and Pre-K. Their grade level is mostly dictated by their Math. The 3rd & 4th graders do History, Science, and Health from the same books. The 1st grader is actually doing 2nd grade Math, but I won't promote him to 2nd grade until he can read.

One of the nicest things about homeschooling is that we can be flexible. We can take field trips at any given time, and we can take birthdays off. I know when I was in school, I always thought it would be neat to have my birthday off; and my children can!
