Civilization's
gone ....
Civilization's
gone!
Where will they drop the bomb?
And break down now what man once built,
And blow the earth from off it's tilt.
Civilization's
gone!
Where did we all go wrong?
Are we or our fathers now to blame,
And what exactly is our aim?
Generations
ago
The pace of life was slow,
Yet still man fought with sword and stone
And dust was formed from out of bone.
Generations
past
There were no bombs to blast
When man had time to work and build
The lust for power was not fulfilled.
Within
the present time,
Has man now lost his mind,
That he has time to kill, destroy
And snuff out life as if a toy.
Can't
man now slow the pace?
And stop this deathly race
Before there's no one left alive!
This human waste - man can't survive.
In
times of years gone by
Man looked up to the sky
And saw therein the face of God.
Man now has turned back to the sod!
Life
is not here to waste
We were not made in haste
We've all gone mad and wrong
Just drop another bomb!
And
so I ask this of you
(And hope to find a few,
Who'll listen tp and hear my cry)
"Don't blow the earth up to the sky!
Leave
behind your deathly toy
And make this earth a place of joy"
