Stubborn Love

And a stone wall cried tears of sand,
Which fell into a watery grave,
And formed mud.

And I am a stone wall crying,
And who is the desert dying?
And what is mud?

And a sterile pool gave birth to a stagnant idea,
Which flowed into a pregnant mind,
And was disliked.

And I am the sterile pool,
With a pregnant mind giving birth to hate -
Forgetting love.

And rain fell and washed away the mud
And moved the stagnant mind,
Which began flowing.

And the desert dying lived,
And the stone wall crumbled,
And love loved.
