Lunar Love

Silent symbol of the night,
Showering the earth with lunar light,
Regal reign from the sky above,
Endowing us with lunar love.

Oh bright light from up on high,
The queen of earth, the queen of sky,
Majestic lady send to me.
A little of the peace I find in thee.

Oh raped earth of vice and sin,
And rotten to the core within,
Behold your sister in the sky,
So pure and bright - then wish to die.

But lunar light and love at night,
A single cloud can hide your light!
