Looking
at life in retrospect.
I
die before I'm born;
I see the eve' before the morn';
I learn to run before I walk;
I then forget just how to talk!
And
it's all wrong, the wrong way 'round,
And it's all true 'though it may sound
A little mixed up and back to front.
Yes, a little mixed up and back to front!
I
get sober before I'm drunk;
I float before I'm sunk;
I age before I teen;
I fall before I lean!
And
it's all wrong, the wrong way 'round,
And it's all true 'though it may sound
A little mixed up and back to front.
Yes, a little mixed up and back to front!
I'm
buried before I die;
And wipe tears before I cry:
I laugh before the joke,
And light up after I smoke!
And
it's all wrong, the wrong way 'round,
And it's all true 'though it may sound
A little mixed up and back to front.
Yes, a little mixed up and back to front!
I
end before I start;
I arrive after I part;
I start before I end,
And then begin again!
And
it's all wrong, the wrong way 'round,
And it's all true 'though it may sound
A little mixed up and back to front.
Yes, a little mixed up and back to front!
