Is
all fair in love and war?
Two
nations stood on brink of war,
One nation had but wanted more.
- Let peace not end and war break out -
"Find love, find peace !" - that's what I shout.
Just
think that wars cause broken homes,
And wives and loved - ones left alone.
And hurt and tears and blood to flow,
I've fought, yes, fought - ask me I know!
Not
wanting war but wanting right,
Some men and nations turn to fight,
To stand for what they have and love,
And forget the Power that resides above.
Perhaps
some day all wars will cease,
And men and woman find love and peace,
And nations then extend their hand,
To build this earth to joyous land.
With
time the ruins of war may heal,
The victor stands, the looser kneels!
The right may loose, the wrong can win!
Can peace be found without - within?
But
envy there will always be,
So wars will be fought continually.
A jealous nation cannot find peace,
And selfishness will never cease!
So
what is fair in love and war?
Peace may be found - the hates still sore!
