I highly recommend P. Motoro for beginners. Fairly easy to care for with a reasonable price tag. Motoros comes in many variations. Some have many large or small spots, some have spots that are close together while some are gapped, some are lighter while some are dark. Well, you get the picture. P. Motoro do posess a very rough skin (sandpaper like). Widely available than most rays.
