~Come and meet my Family~

My daughter, Christy (22) born in Spokane, Washington. She is a beautiful young woman, I'm very proud of her. Christy was born with a profound hearing loss. Until a few yrs ago we never knew why. Now we know its hereditary. Christy has been married for almost 4 yrs now to Shaun (23). He's a machinist also. Shaun's a great guy with a big heart...and he loves his family very very much!

Thier new little one is my beautiful grand daughter~ Victoria (4). She loves Pooh and everyting to do with Pooh! Now she's into Teletubbies...LOL....loves LaLa. She can say all their names too!!! Her vocabulary increases daily!! Loves watching Bambi over and over! She is speaking lots of words now and say's "grandma". Music to my ears! She also has a severe hearing loss. So her speech was slow but sure. ~OK and update on Tori...he vocabulary is soooooooooo wonderful...she cant stop talking..LOL Her speech is absolutely terrific!!! Im now "GrandMa Donna"....shes a trip!!! ~ YES ....im a proud Grandma ~Smiles~

I was born in Jamaica, NY and raised more in the mountains. I Was there till i was 17 yrs old. My Mom still lives in NY, with her dog Ginger. I visit her as often as i can. Its like my little vacations away from it all....Thanks Mom!!!!! I have 3 brothers.. all married~ Bob & Linda, Ray & Andi and Randy & Michelle, who are no longer a couple...The new lady in his life is Stacey, which i will maybe hook up a pic of next. I have 2 sisters, Cathy (and Kevin) , Debi (and John), they both have a son. Cathy lives in Arizona with her new husband Kevin.....her son is TJ. Debi lives in NY with her son Anthony and her boyfriend, John.

We moved here after living in Spokane,WA where we both were stationed in the U.S.A.F. We traveled across country by car all the way home to the east coast. What a trip!!!! But now.. after being away from my family for so long...I've been thinking about going to NY to live. I've missed so much thru the years!!!!! I've also lost my father 3 yrs ago and have dedicated a page to him on my site. Dad...you are greatly missed!!!!!!!

My son John is now 19. He is considered a recovering TBI. He suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a car accident 6yrs ago. He was hit while riding his mountain bike without a helmet on. He can no longer stay alone or be unsuperivised. He cannot walk without assistance or speak very well. He can use a walker at times and has learned many words. But chooses not to speak much. His life as we remember it was taken away . Time for him to start to live again...He really has re-learned alot!!!!!! He may never be running around or screaming at his sister like before...but i will never give up hope because but no one knows the mysteries of the mind. We do what we can for him, but his aggression makes it very difficult. His new meds have be a blessing in that department.But after a while it seems he becomes immuned to them or something..so we keep trying. We can care for him only as long as he allows us to. But he's getting bigger all the time...and we are considering placing him and a residential facility of some sort...where he can be with peers his age and have a broader world.

The daily stress has taken its toll on us, especially for me~~so you know this internet has been a life saver! The true blessing is that it has allowed me to find all of you. And those of you that i've gotten close to just want you to know~ YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!! Nothing can replace what you've given me so freely from your hearts (((Love & Hugs))) to ALL of you!! Not to mention how much help you've all given me with learning webtv..lol...how we've all grown huh?

I have also found some cousins of mine who have been lost thru the years...unforseen circumstances took our lives away..and we all were separated...find out about thier lives...and hopefully for me....i can fill in the missing yrs somehow. Larri......what can i say Spanky...I Love you...a special bond...you & I share, we will never be separated again....you've brought me the greatest joy..the best stories and laughs...and a part of my heart has come home...We made promises...and plans...lets always stick to them!! K?? Colleen....its a beginning for us....hope we can find a way to be close. You're always in my thoughts...and always have been! Johnny, i was sneeky in finding you....but it worked!!!!!! I think it will be fun getting to know you...if you can bare with my memory losses...and asking a million questions..(over and over) !! I have missed all of you.. over the yrs!! ((((((((HUGS))))))).
