Hello, Gardening Friends! This is another one of my favorite rooms in my little "virtual" home. If you love gardening, roses, flowers, garden ornaments (fountains, statuary, garden benches, topiaries, etc.) then you should enjoy meandering through my garden rooms. You'll also find some foolproof ways to grow roses and some gardening recipes, too! Scan on down to find the Golden keys to gain entrance to my "Secret Garden" Rooms.  Garden Recipes
Rose Petal Perfume :
- 1 cup vodka
- 2 cups distilled water
- 2 cups of strongly scented rose petals
Combine the mixture and leave covered for several days to 1 week. Strain off the liquid. If the fragrance isn't as strong as you would like it to be, you can add a few drops of rose oil. Store in decorative bottle with a tightly capped lid. May tie a satin ribbon and small floral sprig for gift giving.
Luscious Lavender Perfume :
- 1 cup vodka
- 2 cups distilled water
- 2 cups of crushed lavender petals
Combine the mixture and leave covered for several days to 1 week. Strain off the liquid. If the fragrance isn't as strong as you would like it to be, you can add a few drops of lavender oil. Store in decorative bottle with a tightly capped lid. May tie raffia around lid and add small dried flower sprig for gift giving.
