~Scottish Shortbread~

This delightful Scottish Shortbread is wonderful all by itself
without any accompaniment! The lovely buttery taste
shines through and is enhanced
by a hot cup of tea!

Ingredients needed:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix sugar & butter until creamy.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Knead! Shape dough to an inch thick.
  5. Cut in triangles, rectangles or other shape & prick with a fork.
  6. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 15 - 20 minutes.
