~WITH THIS RING~
This is a little clipping my Mother has had for many years,
I borrowed it to share with you.
"My wedding ring is a constant reminder of the security, faith, devotion and love of my husband," she wrote. "It tells me he will be waiting for me on every corner." (The Lord only knows on how many corners I have waited on for him.)
"My wedding ring tells me he will go where I want him to go and
that he will do what I want him to do." "My wedding ring tells me he will take care of every overdraft of mine at the bank; he will keep my gas tank filled; he will pay all of my bills, even though some may be for wild and foolish purposes."
"It tells me I can trust his judgment. I can tell him my troubles. I can count on his understanding. I can be proud of his neat appearance. I can count on his congenial manner, and polite attitude toward all my friends."
"My wedding ring tells me I can hold his hand or touch him anytime, because he is mine. With this ring, we established a Christian home and put God first."
I can agree with my 10 year old granddaughter when I asked her why she loved me so much. Her answer: "Because you are married to the best grandfather in the world."
