Michael King Shaw was born on March 15, 1956 to Karl Edward Shaw and Velma Leota Turberville.  He was my cousin.  His family traveled all over the country when he was younger, until his parents bought a small trailer park just outside Ashville, OH.  They called the trailer park Carvel Manor.  When Michael was 17 he was dating a gal named Cathy Decker who lived in Columbus, OH.  She is supposed to have become pregnant and had a son.  This child was the only child Michael ever had.  We found out when Michael's mother died and Cathy contacted Uncle Karl for money, since the checks Aunt Velma sent quit coming.  Uncle Karl refused to send her any money unless she could prove the baby was Michael's child.  We never heard from her again.  Michael looked for this child for years, and never found him.  We are still looking for Cathy and the child.  Cathy may have spelled her name Kathy (with a K instead of a C).  If you know her, please contact me at miller@bubblegum.net.
