Susanna Orcutt was born 20 February 1617/8 at Fillongley, Warwickshire, England and died 18 October 1699 or 20 February 1699/1700 at West Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. She married Samuel Edson 1638 at Fillongley, Warwickshire, England. He was born 5 September 1613 at Fillongley, Warwickshire, England and died 19 or 20 July 1692 at West Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. For information on his ancestry see the Edson Family. Both are buried at the Old Grave Yard (South St.), Bridgewater, MA. They immigrated from England to Salem, MA in June 1639 and removed from Salem to Bridgewater, MA c1648. They had the following children:

William Orcutt was born 18 December 1718 at Fillongley, Warwickshire, England and died 14 September 1693 at Plymouth or Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. He married first to Mary Lane 24 January 1662/3 at Hingham, Plymouth Colony (now Plymouth Co., MA). She was born 16 August 1640 at Hingham, Plymouth Colony (now Plymouth Co., MA.  For information on her ancestry see the Lane Family. He married second to Martha Lane c1668. She died 1712.

She was born c1666 at Duxbury, Plymouth Colony (now Plymouth Co., MA) and died before 1698. She married Benjamin Edson (Reference # 1032) 14 July 1715 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. He was born 1686 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA and died 13 May 1758 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. He married first to Millicent, surname unknown, c1728 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. She died 11 May 1736. Both are buried at the Old Burying Ground, Stafford, Tolland Co., CT. He married second to Mary Burrell 15 June 1737 at First Church, North Precinct, Weymouth, Suffolk (now Norfolk) Co., MA.

Capt. John Orcutt I was born 20 August 1758 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA and died 25 November 1830 at Stafford, Tolland Co., CT. He served in the American Revolutionary War. He married first to _____ Heilford, further information unknown. He married second to Irena Wales (Reference # 133). She was born 20 August 1777 at Wales, Hampshire (now Hampden) Co., MA and died 23 August 1848 at Stafford, Tolland Co., CT. See the Wales Family for information on her ancestry. He married first to Luranna Griggs (Reference # 67) 21 November 1830 at Stafford, Tolland Co., CT. She was born 16 November 1811 at Union, Tolland Co., CT and died 15 August 1848 at Hampden, Hampden Co., MA. He married second to Persis Chapin 8 March 1853. She was born 6 February 1816 and died 25 November 1878 at Hampden, Hampden Co., MA. All three as well as all of the children of John Orcutt and Luranna Griggs are buried at the Old Cemetery, Hampden, Hampden Co., MA. Children of John Orcutt and Luranna Griggs:

She married William Pease Frost (Reference # 32) 24 November 1864 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He was born 4 April 1839 at Longmeadow (now East Longmeadow), Hampden Co., MA and died 23 October 1911 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN.
