Hi, My name is Rosemary "Lomeli" Torres and I'm from Southern California. Alittle bit about myself BEFORE I got married. I grew up and was "raised" in the La Puente/Hacienda Heights area in Southern California (Los Angeles County). I come from a family of 2 older brothers and 5 sisters (I'm in the middle of the 5 girls). I graduated from Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights; Class of 1977 (so I guess that pretty much gives my age, doesn't it?? Heeheehee). If anyone went to that school, please feel free to email me at my address below. I'd love to know who you are.
I am married to a wonderful man, Lou Torres (I met him April 14, 1979), he Graduated from El Monte High School. He comes from a family of 2 brothers (which includes him) and 2 sisters. He's been employed by United Parcel Service (UPS) for 28 years now, and is a "Feeder Driver". We have been married for 24 years (although, I always say we've been married 29, because it's like we were married since Day ONE...we actually got married on our 5 year Anniversary from the day we met). As much as my Husband may not realize, I LOVE him with all my heart and I THANK GOD for putting him in my "path" when he did (even though he is somewhat younger than me *smile*). We have been through so many "trials and tribulations" (one in which, NO ONE would ever dream of) during our years together, we could probably write a book. During our 29+ years together (married and not married, we lived together the first 5 years), we had FIVE Beautiful Daughters; Louise (1980), Michelle (1984), Rochelle (1984), (yes they are twins), Marina (1987) and Brianna (1989)...(I had 2 miscarriages, and I honestly believe those were my Son's, being that I had 5 girls). I currently am employed part-time with a Christian Church in the High Desert as a Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper (have been for 5 years now), which keeps me "out of trouble" and away from the "stores" (most times *smile*). Our youngest Daughter just graduated from High School; so my time is pretty much "free" (no more being TAXI MOM). We have a GORGEOUS "blue-eyed" Grandson, Noah Anthony who has put the JOY back into our lives and we look forward to every moment we spend with him. Noah will be 2years old come September 10th, '08.
In my spare time, I love to read anything of interest to me at the time, I love to write just about anything, (I don't spend as much time as I used to on the computer) or maybe just shop for 'whatever pops up at me'; mainly always something for my Grandson; also enjoy just SLEEPING when I can. There is nothing else I love doing more than ALL this OR just spending whatever time I can with ALL my girls TOGETHER (that's when they are not ALL PMSing at the same time...heeheehee...poor hubby).
In the Summer months, we just like to hang out at home or get together with family/friends when we can and just hang out by the pool (have a BBQ). We purchased some property in Duchesne, Utah three years ago and have finally completed our 'vacation get away' home ('07); so it's always nice to know, we have a 'home away from home' we can just get away to (even though it's a 10 hour drive).A Precious Moment

A person is only complete
when she has a true friend...
to understand her...
to share all her
passions and sorrows with...
and to stand by her
throughout her life...
Thank You My Husband For Being My Best Friend
With all my Love,
Your Wife
On November 25, 1993; Thanksgiving Morning...our lives were changed FOREVER! We lost our Oldest Daughter Louise at the age of 13-1/2 years old to a "Congenital Heart Defect". Please continue on.
