OSTENACO IN 1762 , WHERE HE MARRIED , HE ALSO WROTE HIS MEMMOIRS.

He lead two parties of Cherokees to England. The one in 1762 included Ostenaco. It was very unsuccessful as they had to wait three weeks for an audience with the King. He also had to defined himself against accusations about supposedly exhibiting the Chiefs for money On August 25,1762 the Chiefs left England but TIMBERLAKE stayed behind because of lack of funds. He made one more voyage with a different Cherokee delegation, probably right before his death in 1765. He died penniless and heartbroken. There is also notes of a marriage to a woman while he was in England. His memoirs where published in 1765.
