Somethings About Us
I am Gretchell Soileau Spears and my husband is Todd Spears. We have been married 24 years. God has blessed us with five wonderful children, Jonathan 22, Morgan 20, Shem 15, Sloan 14, and Nathanael is 11. We live in Reddell, Louisiana. It is a small rural community that is a direct neighbor of Mamou. Mamou(come and see the Mamou Mardi Gras, and our Cajun Music Festival) is in central Louisiana, the heart of Cajun Country.
We farm rice and crawfish. We have been farming rice for 20 years and crawfishing for 15.
We stay very busy, but it is worth while when I think of our children and my husband who works so hard to give us such a good life. I thank the good Lord for all the blessings he send us daily. I am a x-ray technologist and I work at Opelousas General Hospital, and I also work at home, keeping the farm books, housework, laundry, cooking, homework, and errands. In my free time....I love working on my web pages, photography, and gardening. I usually play life by ear, taking whatever comes my way and praying that everything that is important gets accomplished. I hope you enjoy our pages. They tell who we are and what our lifestyle is and about Cajun/French Culture and Family Background .
