There are events or moments that profoundly effect a persons life that they never diminish with time. For me, it was the first kiss; the births of my children and two grandsons; Bing Crosby's death; Neil Armstrongs first steps on the moon; visiting Arlington National Cemetary; visiting the military cemetary on Oahu; standing at the Vicksburg cemetary overlooking the Mississippi River. standing on the Arizona Memorial; seeing the Vietnam Memorial; standing on Freedom Bridge, the night it was opened by the East Germans; watching the first POW's return home; laying to rest my ex father in law, a verteran of WWII; laying to rest, this past Feb, of my ex-husband, a veteran of Vietnam As a teenager, I well remember the day the first POW's returned home. I sat in front of the tv crying, as many other Americans that day. Growing up Navy, marrying Army, having a daughter and son-in-law in the Army, there is a special place in my heart for all the men and women that have served in the Armed Forces. Past, present, and future. For each man and woman who answered the call of this great nation despite the hatred and dissension among the American people this page is dedicated. We can NOT ever and must NOT ever forget the ultimate sacarfice they have made. We MUST bring them home, where they belong!

Please check back in the coming months, homeschooling my son David we have decided to participate in Operation Yellow Ribbon. I will be posting what we have done and the progress we have made. This will be a valuable lesson for him this coming school year. Many thanks and much gratitude must go to those with artistic talent, which I used graphics from. When downloading I forgot to get the creators link, I will shortly have the acknowledgments up. I created some of my own, this background and buttons, the background used for Chief Cristman. You will notice that I used daisies as a divider, which may look out of place here. To me, personally, the daisy symbolizies many things, one of which is HOPE.
